| A large Fortune 100 technology distributor came to us for assistance on two large logistics bids, one for less-than-truckload transportation and one for ocean transportation.
Their challenge was that they needed a high-velocity bid response analysis to meet an aggressive timeline which they could not do in-house. We used our bid data analysis tools to summarize the results based on their internal bid goals and reported the results to their management.
However, during the award process for the LTL bid, one carrier balked at their bid rates. We then re-ran our bid results, generating several potential award scenarios with that carrier removed. We are happy to report that their bid savings were better without that carrier!
